We've all seen it, the intrusive videographer who interrupts the reception at every chance he gets to ask for your testimonial. "Let's watch my wedding video!" often invokes a feeling of dread to the audience. Worse yet, sitting through the whole thing.
All. Eight. Hours.
For these reasons, a lot of couples I meet elect not to hire a videographer.
I've had the pleasure of working with some fantastic videographers - generally awesome, nice people who document in much the same way I do: unobtrusively. Every now & again, I receive an email with a link to a video "teaser" (a similar concept to my blog previews). They're usually a few minutes long and recap the wedding. Yesterday, Nate, from Reaching Roots Studios, sent me a link to Katy+Mitch's clip. It was perfect. Watching the clip brought me right back to their wedding & all of the happiness that came with it. The music was unique, not in any way cliché and the story was put together seamlessly. The man is talented.
I asked Nate if I could share the video with all of you & he kindly obliged.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
(If you watch closely, you can see me!)
