Joe and I went to high school together. He sat behind me in Marine Biology and once, he wrote me a freestyle rap when I lost my voice for over a month. Shortly after I started my business, I got a message from him on Facebook telling me that his girlfriend, Raquel, loved my photos and that they brought her to tears. That was one of those great moments in the beginning of my career.
Fast forward a few years and I'm standing at the front of St. John's in Goshen, New York, watching my friends, Joe & Raquel, see each other for the first time on their wedding day, and I'm the one with tears in my eyes. Their wedding was beautiful and fun and so full of love. I am so honored that they chose me to document it.
