It's no secret that San Francisco is one of my favorite cities. Every time I go, I fall a little more in love with it and my trip in October was the best yet. I arrived after an incredible road trip, spent time with one of my favorite people, had the most amaaazing ice cream I've ever had (I'm still dreaming about it), and then I somehow landed some sweet digs in Union Square.
And then, on my last day in town, Khyati & Nick were married at the San Francisco Film Centre in the Presidio in an intimate outdoor ceremony at magic hour. There was love and laughter, bright and happy florals, an amazing dessert table, families that were so happy to have been brought together, a crazy dance party, and the most delicious Indian dinner. And then there was me, feeling really lucky to have been there to tell their story through photographs (and, you know, indulging in a heaping helping of tikka masala). Combining this place I hold so close to my heart with my work made it all the more special to me. I'm looking forward to much more time in San Francisco and seeing a lot more of Khyati and Nick.
I hope they like ice cream :)
