Emerson

Butterfly
August 2012

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Meghan Finn Floral & Event Styling for Bijou

Photos for Bijou
Florals by Meghan Finn
April  2012

If you've flipped through the first issue of Bijou, chances are pretty high that you've already marveled at these gorgeous Meghan Finn creations.  In case you haven't, I'm posting them here, because it's Monday and everyone needs to look at lovely things on Mondays.

Jen and I pitched a vague article idea on creative florals to Meghan and she got back to us with ideas of birch bark and yarn and blackberries - she got it and delivered four bouquets that floored us (audible excitement, folks).

That being said, if you're in the market for a floral designer who is talented, creative, super sweet and someone who gets it, you should get in touch with Meghan.

A few people have also commented on that rustic wood backdrop we used -
it's a custom coffee table made from salvaged barnwood, built by Click's own Matt Versweyveld.
Oh yes, we are multi-talented over at Click Pictures.

Among my mother's endless list of talents is the ability to put together beautiful gardens.
