Reason #6 that I love my job (and a Happy Day!)

During Cait and Sean's engagement session, I made a comment about how soon the wedding was.  "Is it sinking in?  Is the excitement hitting you yet?"  Sean glanced over at Cait with a sweet smile on his face.  "I can't wait," he said, a quiet confession made almost to himself.  He leaned in and kissing her on the cheek.

It's those quiet words and adoring looks that make me feel so lucky to do what I do, and knowing Sean and Cait, today's going to be filled with them.

Congratulations to Cait & Sean!

reason #5 I love my job

Sometimes I get really sweet notes, e-mails and comments from people about my work.
I really like my job, but it's those kind words that make me love what I do.

Thanks to anyone & everyone who appreciates my work -
you're the reason I get to keep doing it.
And I think that makes me pretty lucky :)

I wasn't originally going to make this a Reasons post, but it really is one of my favorite parts of my job, and it makes coming up with a title for it pretty simple...

Reasons I love my job.

This is Jessica. This is Skip.
How great are pets with people names?
It never fails to put a smile on my face.

I love my job. Can you even call it a job if it virtually never feels like work? I say virtually, because I have to do taxes, but other than that, I've got it pretty good. I mean, think about it. I get to hang out with AWESOME people at the biggest parties of their lives, celebrating family and friendships and LOVE. And today - I photographed
PUPPIES.
Can it get any better than this??

This is Patton. He is eight months old & weighs about the same as my 27 year old sister.
He was also REALLY afraid of my camera.

You may also remember my friend Erik from his engagement session.
Is there anything sweeter than a boy & his dog?

I know, I know.
You want to take them ALL home with you.
I'm sorry, they're all spoken for.
Yes, even Erik.
(we missed you today Marissa!)

I guess you can have Marla....

but I'm sorry,
she is NOT cute.

AT ALL.
