Kerri & Greg's Engagement Session | New York Botanical Garden | New York, New York

There are a lot of places that I've been for shoots that I probably would have never gone on my own.  For example, I have been to three different botanical gardens within an hour of NYC.  THREE.  Did you even know there were three botanical gardens that close to the city?  I didn't. And they're all beautiful, by the way - I recommend visiting every single one of them.

I feel really lucky every single time I visit a new location.  It's one of my favorite parts about my job.  Another favorite part of my job is getting to hang out with really cool people, which is why spending the day with Kerri & Greg at the New York Botanical Garden was a pretty ideal way to spend an afternoon.  I'm really looking forward to their wedding in December, which will also be a blast, but hopefully a lot less hot ;)

Tasha & Travis | Hudson Valley, New York

Last weekend, Tasha and Travis got married in New York's Hudson Valley, but a few weeks before that, we met up for their engagement session (it's never too late!).  Tasha has been in front of my camera before, but this was the first time I met Travis.  It was great to hang out and get to know him (and them as a couple) before the big day.  They're such a great match.  I'm so happy they found each other. xo

Allisen & James | Albany, New York

Allisen & James' engagement session in Albany was so special to me.  Allisen is the unofficial fourth Pfeffer sister and I couldn't be happier for her and James as they start their lives together.  Thanks to both of them for a great afternoon of photos, forties and so much fun (as always). xo

Tiffany&Michael

I loved this session. Not only did I get to go back to Willowwood Arboretum, but I got to see Tiffany & Michael again, whom I fell in love with at their initial meeting (well, meetings for Tiffany actually). As anyone I've photographed knows, I do more guiding at sessions rather than directing, which allows me to get the most natural looking photos. Tiffany & Michael hardly needed any guidance; they laughed, they smiled, they kissed, they twirled... they even had me laughing! Despite the cold weather (did I mention that I woke up to a half inch of snow on the ground?), I had a blast at their session and I simply cannot wait until their wedding next May. Thanks again for an awesome session, Tiffany & Michael! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have!

Did I mention how much fun they had? I love this photo.
